Some of us jump into the moment. Entrepreneurs like myself plan every moment.

Being random may work for a while for some, eventually though messing up will catch up with you; then you'll find yourself always having a conflict with your timeline.

Mixing what you had planned the day before, with what you have planned the next day; is not a good way to plan your day.

I like to plan ahead for what is about to happen. Using my smartphone is a great tool for helping me stay organized.

That could be as simple as driving to a meeting, to running some business errands; regardless though knowing my timeline helps me execute my day efficiently.

Something I like to do each day before anything, is look at my schedule on my smartphone; also reminders for tasks I'm working on.

Most of these tools are available on my laptop when I travel. They are also each available on my desktop when I'm in the office.

However our smart phone is one of the best assets to our business if we use it more for being prepared and planning ahead then getting caught up in the moment.

Each time as I get ready to drive, I review my schedule and tasks timeline to help me know what is first then second or third etc; which is all available to me in the cloud because I created everything in advanced.

Stop writing important things in sticky notes. Stop adding stuff on your calendar that do not show on your phone. Stop trying to remember things that are essential to your business.

Instead do what I do as an Entrepreneur and what many successful business owners do as well to stay organized.

In the moment of an idea, create a task in outlook; then set a reminder.

When booking appointments add it to outlook too, then sync it with all devices using office 365; then each morning just review your calendar.

Everything eventually will be just a click away. Accessible from any device you use.

Don't be in the moment. Plan ahead instead.
